Polar bears

The animal in this photo is a polar bear. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos . They can swim more than 150 kilometres.

Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. Polar bears usually eat seals. Females have two cubs every four or five years.

The Artic ice is smaller because the climate is changing. Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas.

Horses

The animal in this photo is a horse. The horse is a large mammal. It's 1.5 - 1.8 m tall and it can wigh about 600 to 1000 kg. The horses have 40 teeth. They have a large tail too.

They live on farms or in places preparated for their needs. The horse was a wild animal, many years ago. They eat grass, seed and grains.

The horses housed tend to acquire vicis, this is a big problem.
